Michael and K.I.T.T. are hired by Rita to find Ron, her missing brother, whom she suspects has met with foul play. Their investigation leads them to Michael's evil half-brother Garthe Knight (who looks remarkably like Michael), and Garthe's mother, Elizabeth--sponsor of the Foundation and ex-wife of Michael and K.I.T.T.'s creator/father. Freed from an African prison, Garthe obtains the three-part chemical compound which is responsible for K.I.T.T.'s special molecular -bonded shell. Elizabeth and Garthe adapt this to "Goliath", a powerful, behometh semi-truck. Better watch out, K.I.T.T.
Part 2 of 2. After meeting with an African revolutionary, Michael discovers that the stakes are higher than originally thought. Garthe (David Hasselhoff in a dual role) intends not only to make a much more powerful K.I.T.T., he intends to use "Goliath" to break into a government missile silo. Michael now must confront and stop Garthe, who has escalated his madness to include his personal vendetta to destroy Michael. The question is...can K.I.T.T. overcome Goliath?

While doing volunteer work for Congressman Albert Ebersol, the beautiful and sophisticated Amelia Clermont discovers evidence that he is organizing a theft ring involving stolen government military equipment. Determined to prove her theory, she heads for the war surplus salvage yard where Ebersol and his men are hiding their prized possession, the SX-411 missile-firing helicopter. While taking photos and drawing diagrams, she is spotted by Ebersol's gang, who fire on her car as she races home. Amelia's daughter, asks Devon to find her missing mother, and he assigns Michael to expose the plot.
Michael and K.I.T.T. are set to meet with an informant, Alfredo, who has evidence of a murder and a scam which is run by Gastner, owner of the auto wrecking yard. The employees of the yard are illegal aliens brought across the border to work. When one of Alfredo's friends and Gastner's employees is murdered and his body crushed at the wrecking yard, Alfredo calls the foundation to investigate the killing.
Michael and K.I.T.T. go on an underwater hunt for sunken treasure - much to K.I.T.T.'s astonishment at its new aquatic abilities.
