Series from 2018
Amanda Giese, founder of Panda Paws rescue in rural Washington state makes it her mission to save animals with disabilities around the country.
Amanda takes on two new rescues -- Flint Lockwood, a nine-month-old pit bull with a fractured jaw and Latte, a four-month-old Dalmatian with an eye condition that could lead to blindness. Both need immediate medical attention.
The rescue receives two new residents Professor Clovis, a miniature schnauzer with a suspected liver shunt who needs a complicated and costly surgery and Hamburglar, a blind puppy who Amanda prepares for his new forever family.
Amanda and her kids travel to Hawaii, where they meet dogs perfect for Panda Paws: a deaf mother-daughter Catahoula duo, Loco Moco, a puppy who may be blind, and Super Scootie, a senior in need of a home after years of neglect.
Amanda finds forever homes for her Hawaiian rescues. Super Scootie has malformed legs among other problems and Loco Moco struggles to process visual cues. A new rescue arrives Lily Rose, a blind and overweight toy spaniel.
Following the recent eruption of the Kilauea volcano in May 2018, local shelters on the Big Island of Hawaii have been overrun with displaced animals. Amanda and her family embark on a humanitarian mission to bring back as many animals as they can.
After a whirlwind rescue mission in Hawaii, Amanda brings home Iceland, a blind puppy, and Egypt, a shy and fearful shelter dog. Meanwhile, Elliot. An English Toy Spaniel with a very serious heart condition unexpectedly come under her care.
