Go Tell the Spartans « Movie from 1978

Set in the early 1960s, a team of American advisors in Vietnam prior to the official U.S. involvement assist the local militiamen in trying to overtake a crucial outpost but find themselves outmatched by the very motivated Viet Cong troops.
