Yoon Hyeonwoo, the head of the Future Asset Management Team at Soonyang Group, takes care of the dirty work of the owner's family. He works diligently, although his colleagues scorn him because he only completed high school. Hyeonwoo then discovers the company's slush funds and falls into a dilemma.
Yoon Hyeonwoo gets murdered. However, he is reborn rich as the youngest child of the Soonyang family in 1987. Yoon Hyeonwoo, now known as Jin Dojun, faces Soonyang's founder Jin Yangcheol. He realizes that everything that unfolds before his eyes is the same as in Jin Yangcheol's autobiography.
Jin Dojun enters law school and gets a gift of land in a new town from Jin Yangcheol. His siblings feel insecure and keep an eye on him, but Jin Dojun is only busy enjoying college life like any other college student. Fate brings Seo Minyeong to him as a classmate.
