Ma and Pa Kettle at the Fair « Movie from 1952

When the Kettles' eldest daughter Rosie wants to go to college, Ma and Pa Kettle enter the Cape Flattery County Fair to raise the money for her tuition.

The events include a trotter race, for which Pa purchases an out-of-shape mare, and a bread- and jam-making contest that puts Ma's cooking skills to the test against their neighbor and rival, Birdie Hicks.
