Sholay

One of the most iconic Bollywood Films ever made - Sholay tells the tale of a retired policeman (Thakur) who summons a pair of small-time thieves to help him capture Gabbar Singh, a notorious & wanted dacoit.

While planning to capture Gabbar, the thieves unravel the motivation for Thakur's actions. Sholay is also a defining example of a 'masala' film, which mixes several genres in one epic film.
