Alexandr Bochkin, a chemist by training, manages a Moscow dry-cleaning operation in a very "comfortable' way, taking orders on the side for his speculative "private enterprise," run in conjunction with "Queen Margot." One day, he decides to tell a woman he likes and his friends that he's a scientist working on top-secret experiments for the government.
