An offbeat vampire movie about the blood-suckers that Romanians actually believe in. Vlad returns to his home village in Romania after an unsuccessful attempt to make it in Italy and finds everyone acting very strangely.
The town drunk has been murdered and he's been implicated so Vlad becomes a combination detective/vampire hunter in order to track down the truth.
