There were once 12 wisdoms that maintained peace and happiness throughout the world. 12 creatures signify the 12 respective wisdoms, each creature called a Mascot by humans. However, Muspel, the thirteenth Mascot who hates humans, puts the twelve Mascots in cursed masks, transforming them into Takers. Humanity's only chance rests in the hands of the Four Guardians.
