Chou Wei-wei always believes that she will marry her earnest and average boyfriend, Li Hao-i. But accidents always come uninvited. One day, Wei-wei ch…
Chou Wei-wei is a project manager whose job is basically to complicate new phone features. One day, Wei-wei leaves her notebook behind in a cab. Chu K'ei-huan, who discovers the notebook, is totally astonished by the remarks in the notebook. He is immediately intrigued to meet this woman named Chou Wei-wei. K'ei-huan emerges out of the blue when Wei-wei is at the mini KTV she frequents. Wei-wei almost loses her mind when K'ei-huan bluntly points out the mistakes in her note. It is as if they're bound to meet each other. As the saying goes, once is happenstance, twice is a coincidence, and three times is destiny.
As Wei-wei is rummaging for coupons, someone volunteers to pay for her. She turns around to see K'ei-huan. She quickly pays him back and storms out of the store. The more she tries to control her anger, the more K'ei-huan finds her attractive. Wei-wei stumbles upon K'ei-huan at the same mini KTV after work. Wei-wei makes it clear that she would not have attended the party had she known that it is a singles mixer. K'ei-huan's presence keeps reminding her of that night and she really hopes she could make him disappear. K'ei-huan agrees to leave without hesitance. Wei-wei and Hao-i go on a house hunt and they found one that they like. Turns out that the house owner is K'ei-huan and Tzu-yuan.
Tzu-yuan's constant interference drives K'ei-huan fed up with the relationship and he aspires to make a change in life. K'ei-huan offers Wei-wei a huge discount on the house but on one perverted condition. Wei-wei turns down the offer without hesitance. She even hides it from Hao-i. Thus, they did not close the deal. Hao-i's father comes to Taipei upon learning that Hao-i is buying a house. However, he finds it hard to stomach the unreasonably high property prices. The issue of purchasing a house brings both families to an argument. Hao-i suggests renting a house so that he and Wei-wei can move in. Wei-wei knows that Hao-i is giving up his dream for her. At that juncture, she recalls K'ei-huan's offer. Wei-wei can resolve all the problems if she accepts the offer.
K'ei-huan tells Wei-wei to stop hiding and embrace her true feelings for him. Wei-wei tries to contact Hao-i but he does not pick up the phone call. The next day, Hao-i gently wakes her up and takes her to breakfast. However, he rushes back to work before she finished eating. Wei-wei feels down as she watches Hao-i walks away. Wei-wei's phone rings just when she feels dizzy. To her disappointment, it's not from Hao-i, but K'ei-huan. K'ei-huan notices that Wei-wei is not feeling well. Thus, he barges into Wei-wei's house and takes her to the doctor. After the visit to the clinic, K'ei-huan takes Wei-wei back to his place for a rest. Tzu-yuan pays him an impromptu visit and insists to check out the guest, but K'ei-huan questions her if she can face the truth.
