Five Children and It

Robert, Anthea, Jane, Cyril and baby Lamb find 'It' one hot, sunny day while they are playing in a gravel pit. 'It' is Psammead, a small, vain, furry, simply wonderful creature, and 'It's' none too pleased at being disturbed.

Imagine their surprise when they discover It can grant wishes. But somehow things never turn out quite the way the children intended...
