Two lovebirds, Asha and Mohan get married in a private temple but it doesn't work out and they part ways. Mohan moves on and gets married to Seema,years go by and they are happily married.
Mohan gets hired in the local municipality and his new boss happens to be Asha! Rumours spread across town about Asha and Mohan which has Seema thinking that there can be no smoke without fire.
