In the late 1980's Jews fled the Soviet Union via a complicated route via Vienna and Rome. Once in Italy, these Soviet Jews awaited approval for refugee status to The United Sates.

Many found themselves denied.

This poignant documentary film follows the arduous migratory path taken by Soviet Jews; their lives led in limbo, anxiety, and uncertainty during this long and complex migratory process.
