Just before reaching her thirties, Pauline leaves her stressful Parisian life and decides to walk alone from Alsace in the direction of Santiago in Spain.

During her 4-month walk through France and Spain - about 2000 km by foot - she meets numerous other pilgrims and asks them why they are walking and what the Camino brings them.
