The Middle of the World

Romão, an unemployed family man from Paraíba, decides to hit the road to Rio de Janeiro in search of a job and a decent life for his family.

To achieve this dream, he, accompanied by his wife, Rose, and their five children, travels 3,200 kilometers by bicycle, facing hunger, heat, fatigue, and violence.
