The Grand Meaulnes

Sologne, November 1910. A month after the start of a new school year, Mr. and Mrs. Seurel welcomed a new student, a 17-year-old Augustin Meaulnes.

The mysterious teenager very quickly earns respect from his peers and befriends Seurel's son, Francois. Augustine tells him about his interests, life and about Yvonne, with whom he fell head over heels in love.
