There's a monster afoot! It seems the ghost of a medieval torture maniac called "The Punisher" is on the loose and killing off people in a variety of grisly ways.

The "rat-eating-the-girls-face" scene is a real eye-opening shocker. Turn your head when the Punisher is unmasked; this is one of the scariest makeup jobs we've seen in some time.
