The Nickelodeon former TV star Drake Bell spent 48 hours behind bars for DUI before being released.
The actor had been sentenced to 96 hours, but recovered his freedom earlier, on Saturday, according to TMZ, thanks to his good behaviour.
The imprisonment was part of a plea deal Drake reached after a second arrest for DUI last December.
But Drake is not off the hook yet, as he will have to attend an alcohol education programme and spend four years on probation.
On December 21 last year, Drake was pulled over by police in Glendale, California, for for straddling a lane, travelling at an unsafe speed and abruptly stopping at a red light. And the actor “did not satisfactory complete” a sobriety test, therefore he was placed under arrest and released on a $20.000 bail.
