Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly rejected a Mammoth offer to play for a Chinese Club. The real Madrid star would have earned 273.000 Euros per day with his new contract. And the deal was not bad at all for his current Club. Real Madrid would have received 250M for the transfer. That’s 2.5 times more what the Spanish Club paid MU, and for a player who’s 31-year old…You have to wonder, who rejected the deal, was it his club or him?
The Spanish sports newspaper Marca reports the star did not give it one though. He clearly wants to stay in Madrid, where he can compete at top level and fight for the highest trophies.
Cristiano currently earns 32M per year in salary, the difference would have been huge, only affordable by the booming Chinese Market, offering crazy salaries to convince world stars to sign for their clubs.
Ex MU Carlos Tevez recently signed for Shanghái Shenhua, where he will earn 38M Euro per year, joining the likes of Lavezzi and Jackson Martinez, who did care for the ‘chinese’ bucks…
