Kym Marsh would love Hear'Say comeback for special show

Kym Marsh won\'t rule out a Hear\'Say show after her \'Coronation Street\' exit.

The 43-year-old actress is set to leave the cobbles this month after playing Michelle Connor for almost 14 years, and while she wants to focus on a range of exciting new roles she admitted she would like to get the \'Pure and Simple\' hitmakers back together for a special performance.

Speaking about her post-soap plans, Kym - who has ruled out reality TV - told The Sun newspaper\'s Bizarre column: "I\'ve got an itch that I need to scratch in terms of trying new things -- I\'d like to do dramas, and a bit of theatre, but something different -- maybe play a psychopath or something.

"I\'d love to do a bit more presenting too, but fortunately I seem to be one of the few people that\'s allowed to do everything, I\'ve done music, acting, presenting, and theatre.

"I can\'t see a Hear\'Say reunion on the cards, but I\'d love to do a one-off show, maybe just for Manchester Pride."

Meanwhile, Kym revealed she is looking forward to being able to spend time focusing on other projects without the hectic \'Corrie\' schedule.

She added: "A bonus of leaving \'Coronation Street\' might be that I get to spend more time enjoying the other things in my life -- the filming schedules can be very fast paced and you spend a lot of time there -- but I\'m not planning on slowing down, there are loads of new things that I want to do."

And while she doesn\'t know the "exact day" she\'ll be leaving the ITV soap, the star admitted her final moments on set will be a tearful experience.

She said: "I will be a blubbering mess the day I finish in the next few weeks, I\'ve got no doubts about that."
