Imran Adams hopes his Hollyoaks character finds happiness

Imran Adams hopes his \'Hollyoaks\' character gets a happy ever after.

Although Mitchell Deveraux is engaged to the love of his life Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams), there is drama in store as he struggles to establish a relationship with his father Felix Westwood, played by Richard Blackwood.

Imran told Metro.co.uk: "It\'s been a whirlwind. This is the first time my feet have touched the ground, it\'s happened so fast.

"The Deveraux family expanding, Mitchell and Scott\'s relationship developing and evolving -- it\'s been a lot, and I\'ve enjoyed it a lot. I think Mitchell has had a lot to deal with, but fingers crossed he can finally have his happy-ever-after -- we\'ll see!"

While Imran hopes Mitchell can work things out with his newly-discovered family, he admitted that there could be trouble ahead.

He said: "Mitchell -- bless him -- loves his family and he wants a relationship with them because he always thought he never had siblings, and the fact that he has two now is amazing.

"But he doesn\'t really understand them because he\'s had a very traditional life and they\'ve had an experimental life, so that\'s a different world -- I\'m hoping they can come together and find a real dynamic. A real family.

"There\'s so much you can explore with the whole daddy and son relationship. For anyone, especially within the black community. A lot of people messaged me and said that they feel as if they have a connection to the storyline. Hopefully they can forgive and move on, but we shall see!"
