Amazon Prime has released a preview of 'Wheel of time' epic fantasy series inspired by the acclaimed
saga of novels written by Robert Jordan, consisting of a total of 14 novels that narrate different stages
throughout history, often being compared to the large scale of works such as 'The Lord of the Rings' after
a long wait for fans of this universe, Amazon sets a date for its premiere, which is this coming November 19.
In the same way, the first full trailer promises an exciting globe-spanning adventure and a dizzyingly big and
complex story featuring thousands of characters.
In fact, the aforementioned saga tells an exciting story about the struggle between good and evil in a
world protected by a group of women under the name of 'Aes Sedai'.
In fact, Rosamund Pike, known for her role in Gone Girl (2014), will be seen in the series as Moraine Damodred, a
member of the Aes Sedai. She is on a quest to find the "Dragon Reborn" who has the power to end
The Darkness. This quest brings Moiraine and her Warder (basically her bodyguard)
Lan Mandragoran (Daniel Henney), to the small town of Emond’s Field where they meet
Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski), Mat Cauthon (Barney Harris), Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford),
Egwene al’Vere (Madeleine Madden), and Nynaeve al’Meara (Zoë Robins).
Moiraine believes that one, or maybe all, of these five young people could be the key to stopping
the Dark One and saving the world.
The visuals look suitably grand and beautiful, depicting a world that is both similar to our world and
alien in many ways. The story will be told in a total of 8 episodes in its first season.
Finally, the first episode of Wheel of Time will be released on November 19.
