He did take the step to ask for help due to drug and alcohol addiction.
Besides sexual assault accusations and abuse investigation.

As well as various unrelated accusations of abuse.
Back in May, the 35-year-old actor did check into the Florida Program for substances abuse.
Before that, in March, a 24-year-old woman known as Effie did appear.
She was in the company of her attorney, Gloria Alred.
She did acuse the actor of rape and other terrifying situations.
"Armie Hammer did violently rape me for over four hours in Los Angeles."
"He did repeatedly slam my head against a wall" she did continue
"He also did commit many acts of violence against me, which I didn't consent to."
Many women did make their statements after Effie.
Assuring that the actor is extremely violent and has cannibal tendencies.
On the other hand, the young woman did assure she had a 4-years relationship with Hammer.
By that time, he was married to Elizabeth Chambers.
The attorney of Armie Hammer immediately did make statements.
Therefore, the lawyer did assure that every sexual interaction was with consent.
Before this situation, the actor did accept to have drug and alcohol issues.
On Sunday, December 12th, Hammer's lawyer did confirm the facts.
"I can confirm that Mr. Hammer has left the treatment facility."
He also did add, "I can assure you he is doing great."
The attorney did not make it clear when Armie Hammer did check out.
