Legendary, the reality TV competition from HBO Max focused around voguing is about to premiere their 3rd
season, on May 19th, replacing Megan Thee Stallion with the multitalented actress and singer Keke Palmer, and
keeping all the other judges we have already seen, including English actress Jameela Jamil.
With 10 new houses (teams) coming to compete for the 100 thousand dollars prize and the
'Legendary' status in the ballroom scene.
The last two seasons of the reality show have been wildly well-received by the audience, given that
although vogue is basically in every major city in the world, there wasn't a big platform for these artists
to showcase their art form and let the world know what they do and who they are,
and HBO created it, giving an opportunity to voguers to get big money and show the world their talent.
Of course, you don't have to be super close to or involved with the ballroom scene to enjoy the show,
since 'Legendary' has been making sure to make it incredibly friendly for people new to this art form,
that way you understand where they come from, what they do, and why they do it.
And just like with the past two seasons, the third is no exception, throwing the house out the window
with the amazing guest judging, including Kelly Rowland, Bob The Drag Queen, Leslie Jones and Anitta,
and probably, since it's been a pattern for the past seasons, someone will be giving a
musical performance on the finale, probably Anitta.
For this third season, the live audience is back, which gives an extra layer of excitement to everything
that happens on stage, and for everything we get to see in the trailer, these new houses are
not coming to play, ready to leave everything on the floors to win that 100 thousand dollars prize.
If you're into dancing and want to get to discover more about Queer culture, this is definitely a good chance
support it, let's make sure that HBO keeps producing shows as important and significant as this one,
giving a spotlight to otherwise underrepresented communities.
