The BBC's newest show 'Everything I Know About Love' just premiered this Monday, June 7th,
and the whole season is available for streaming on the BBC iPlayer, with only 7 episodes,
so if you're looking for something to do this weekend, this might be the perfect plan,
especially if you're with friends, since 'Everything I Know About Love', based on the novel
of the same name by Dolly Alderton, is an ode to friendship, growing apart from people,
and the different types of love that there are.
When it comes to coming-of-age/drama stories like this, or other similar productions like 'Normal People' or
'Fleabag', is no surprise that the public as well as the critics are welcoming of this material, since it tends
to focus on really relatable and likeable character, although sometimes flawed, they feel realistic
and human.
And 'Everything I Know About Love' is no exception, with a group of 4 girl friends that move
together in London, portrayed by Maggie Appleton, Bel Powly, Marli Siu and debutant Aliyah Odoffin,
and sadly the promotion for this new show has not been as out there and big as it has been for other BBC
TV shows in the past year, or even shows coming out this 2022, but the opinions are pretty much all on
the same page, saying that this is a really nostalgic show with well executed characters, and great
portrayals of relationships of all kind.
Definitely worth the watch, since is not that long or dense to consume, it's a pretty fun time for
whenever you're available.
