Beyoncé revealed on Wednesday the titles of the 16 songs that will make up her new album, Renaissance, which will be released on July 29. Through the publication of a brief story on her Instagram profile, the artist revealed the name and order of the songs that will appear on her seventh album, without providing further details. The artist had previously used her instagram account to promote her music, such as when she revealed the official cover of her album.
In fact, using her social networks, Beyoncé appears sitting on a translucent horse, made of glass or ice. As she explained, this cover seeks to reflect the content of a work that alternates dance music with the country genre. "Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking." Wrote the artist.
In the same vein, Beyoncé has used her account and revealed the name of her upcoming songs. The titles that will make up the album are: "I'm That Girl," "Cozy," "Alien Superstar," "Cuff It," "Energy," "Break My Soul," "Church Girl," "Plastic Off the Sofa," "Virgo's Groove," "Move," "Heated," "Thique," "All Up in Your Mind," "America Has a Problem," "Pure/Honey" and "Summer Renaissance."
Another point to note is that the American artist keeps referring to this work as "Act I" so some theories arose: either she plans to release a two-part album, or she is already working on a second album.
