The series following Geralt of Rivia is coming back! Netflix, the platform in charge of broadcasting 'The Witcher' series has posted on all its social networks the new image of the third season of the character starring Henry Cavill, the former Man of Steel for DC. The third season of this series will arrive to all of us this summer, as well as the second season of Heartstopper. The image, which shows Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer and Ciri hugging, is accompanied by the message "Hold on. 'Til Tomorrow" which clearly means that this is not the only thing that will advance the story full of magic, so it is possible that tomorrow we will see the first trailer of this series.
The first poster for season 3 was out in September 2022 during Netflix's Tudum event. It featured the symbol of the Wolf School, next to the swallow representing Ciri. "As monarchs, wizards and beasts of the continent vie to capture her, Geralt hides Ciri from Cintra, determined to protect his newly reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it," reads the official synopsis of the production.
The preview concludes, "As Ciri's teacher, Yennefer takes them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl's untapped powers, There they discover they have landed on a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic and betrayal. They must fight back, risk everything, or risk being lost forever."
These new episodes will be the last ones where we will see Henry as Geralt, as Liam Hemsworth will take his place from the fourth season of The Witcher. According to rumors, Cavill has left the project due to creative differences.
