Reality star and podcast host Spencer Matthews talks about his disappointment when his wife, Vogue Williams, being the third celebrity to be voted out of the jungle on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Spencer could not greet Vogue on the famous rope bridge because he was away completing a major personal challenge.
Vogue Williams, a late arrival to the ITV show, was just 13 days in the camp before her time to go.
As she made her exit, the was just a friend waiting for her instead of her husband, Spencer Matthews.
This absence was not due to any marital issues; rather, Spencer was in the middle of a massive physical feat.
He is currently attempting to complete seven full-distance triathlons across seven continents in just 21 days, aiming to set a world record and raise money for James' Place, a men's mental health charity.
Sources close to the couple called the clash in timing "unfortunate" but unavoidable, as Spencer’s challenge runs until December 6th, just a day before the show’s final.
Spencer Matthews shared how much he misses his wife and expressed his pride in her jungle performance via social media, saying he was "so proud" of her and calling her "extraordinary."
During her interview with hosts Ant and Dec, Vogue, 40, admitted she felt "sad to leave" but also "good" to be out, confessing that she was "absolutely starving" in the jungle.
Her time in camp was full of spirited debate, including a clash over camp chores.
She got into an argument with fellow campmate Angry Ginge over the washing up.
Ginge, who was responsible for the cleaning, suggested campmates reuse their cups and containers to cut down on his workload.
Vogue quickly pushed back on this idea, insisting that everyone had the right to a clean bowl for every meal for hygiene reasons.
In her exit interview, she also jokingly revealed Ginge as the celebrity who had smuggled contraband butter into the camp.
Vogue Williams’ departure from the show followed the earlier exits of comedian Eddie Kadi and TV star Alex Scott.
