Bridget Jones, now in a new life stage with a new love interest and concerns, returns in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy. This fourth installment of the beloved rom-com franchise, possibly the last, released its first trailer today. Starring alongside Leo Woodall, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Emma Thompson, the film, produced by Universal Pictures, StudioCanal, and Miramax, will stream exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. on February 13th. Based on Helen Fielding's third book, with contributions from Abi Morgan and Dan Mazer, the film follows Renée Zellweger’s endearingly single character. The film follows Bridget in her early 50s, a single mother to Billy and Mabel after her husband Mark's death. She navigates her emotional journey with the help of loyal friends and her ex-lover, Daniel Cleaver.
