A new romantic comedy is on the way from Celine Song, the filmmaker who made her directorial debut with the prestigious feature Past Lives in 2023. Titled Materialists, this film promises to feature stars from the world of entertainment.

'Watchmen' is one of the most important comics in the history of the medium. Originally published in 1986 under the DC imprint with Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons as main creators, this story marked a before and after in the conception and representation of superheroes in the comics. In 2009, Zack Snyder adapted the pages of that work with a live-action film that is some to be the best project of the genre ever available, although it generated (and continues to generate) much division among readers and viewers. Warner Bros. Discovery has now released a new trailer for its animated version of 'Watchmen', a project that will soon arrive in two parts.

After his consecration in 2016 thanks to his acclaimed work in Manchester by the Sea, Casey Affleck returns to center stage with The Instigators, a new film from Apple Original Films. Its story takes us to the struggle for the Iron Throne, which will lead to a civil war between the Dragon family.

Disney announced the main cast of its upcoming live-action adaptation of Moana, based on the 2016 hit animated film. Catherine Laga'aia, a 17-year-old actress originally from Sydney, Australia, will bring to life the intrepid teenager who embarks on an adventure to save her people. Dwayne Johnson, who lent his voice to the demigod Maui in the animated version, reprised his role in this new adaptation, in addition to assuming responsibilities as producer. In fact, the film began production this summer and will be in theaters on July 10, 2026. The feature film is titled The Wild Robot and a new teaser for the project is out. Now, thanks to the new teaser trailer, we delve even deeper into this plot, which shows how a strange group of people will try to discover the whereabouts of the missing robot.

Arcane premiered on Netflix in November 2021 and quickly became one of the platform's favorite animated productions. With a story set in the League of Legends universe, the series managed to convince both the public and critics and proved to be one of the first success stories within productions that seek their inspiration in video games. As a result of this success, it was renewed for a new installment. Almost three years later, the Primetime Emmy-winning title is warming up for its return, but unfortunately for fans, it's not all good news.
