After eight films, including sequels, prequels and crossovers, the Alien franchise will make its foray into television with a series from Hulu. Noah Hawley, known for the Fargo adaptation, is the showrunner in charge of the strip that will bring back the lethal xenomorphs and will feature stars such as Sydney Chandler (Don't Worry Darling), Timothy Olyphant (The Mandalorian) and Kit Young (Shadow and Bone). It is a project that has been in development since 2020 and, like many productions, has been affected by the writers' and actors' strike. After a hiatus, the crew returned to the set earlier this year and has reportedly made great progress. In a recent interview, Hawley admitted that he has already managed to finish filming the episodes he was in charge of directing.
