yan Thomas has been forced to keep his daughter Scarlett away from his newborn son amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 35-year-old star shared a snap of him and his newborn baby boy Roman - who came into the world on March 7th - on a video call to his 11-year-old daughter as both families self isolate during the ongoing crisis.
He wrote on Instagram: "Thank God for technology! I\'m finding it really tough being away from my family and sad this is how my daughter met her baby brother.
"To any other broken families I feel your pain and it\'s killing me being apart from my daughter and family for so long, especially at this special time.
"BUT we all need to take social isolation and social distancing seriously and it\'s a sacrifice we have to make to save lives. (sic)"
Ryan\'s fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh gave birth to their son earlier this month, while Scarlett is from the actor\'s previous relationship with \'Coronation Street\' co-star Tina O\'Brien.
Lucy, 28, posted a black and white photograph on her Instagram account of her leaving the hospital with her partner and Roman, and she opened up on their journey home from the hospital.
She said: "This was one of the most surreal moments of my life that I will cherish forever. When we left hospital to head home with our new baby.
"On our way home I\'ve never seen Ryan drive so slowly & sensibly in my life [laughing emoji] I sat in the back watching my beautiful boy (sic)"
Ryan previously revealed the brunette beauty "threw up" everywhere after accepting his marriage proposal.
He said: "For some reason we thought it would be a great idea to go to a nightclub. We got there and immediately regretted it so walked back out again and went to a beach bar. And then she threw up!"
Lucy added: "I don\'t know if it was the excitement of the champagne but I threw up as soon as we got to the bar!
"Poor Ryan had to hold my hair back. I\'d only had a couple of drinks so I think it was because I was feeling so overwhelmed!"
