Australian director George Miller revealed that lead actress Anya Taylor-Joy had around 30 lines of dialogue in his new epic story Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, a prequel to 2015's acclaimed Mad Max: Fury Road. In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Miller explained that he prefers “pure cinema” without the need for subtitles, inspired by the silent works of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin. ''The problem with dialogue is that it tends to slow things down, and film is a medium that is often best enjoyed at high speed,'' he stated. Though he acknowledged that Taylor-Joy's sparse lines are sure to be a talking point when Furiosa premieres at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.

Legendary Pictures has officially confirmed that the sequel to 'Godzilla X Kong' is in the works, and they have hired Dave Callaham, known for his work with Marvel, to write the script.
