Adult Swim and Warner Bros. Animation have finally revealed the release date and offered an early first look at the second season of My Adventures with Superman. This new installment promises to immerse viewers in thrilling journeys alongside Clark Kent and his companions as they face off against formidable villains. Superman is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and beloved characters in pop culture. Over the decades, the film and television industry has approached the story of the Man of Steel in various forms and with multiple actors who have brought the DC superhero to life. Among these variants, animation stands out, with My Adventures with Superman being one of the most recent, debuting in July 2023 on both Cartoon Network and Max.
The Season 2 synopsis reveals new challenges for the three main characters: "The three best friends will face a series of new threats. Powerful enemies will emerge from Clark's alien past, Amanda Waller will target Superman, Lois will deal with the future and Jimmy Olsen will spend an incredible amount of money. Krypton is coming for our young heroes, and its arrival will test their strength, loyalty and love like never before."
As for the cast, the series features the voices of Jack Quaid (The Boys) as Superman, Alice Lee (Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist) as Lois Lane. As for the technical team, Jake Wyatt (From Old School) and Brendan Clogher are showrunners on the project, while Sam Register (Teen Titans in Action: The Movie) is one of the executive producers.
The second season of My Adventures with Superman will premiere its first two episodes on May 25, 2024 via Adult Swim, with a new episode released weekly every Saturday thereafter.
