It's official, the HBO's period drama series The Gilded Age will have a third season. Following the highly praised first two installments, the network celebrated the continuation of the plot that chronicles the social and economic tensions in the United States at the end of the 19th century. The news comes after the conclusion of the broadcast of the second batch of episodes on December 17. The decision represents a renewed competition against Bridgerton (Netflix), which is about to launch its third season, and The Buccaneers (Apple TV+), which announced its new episodes a few days ago.
